Fiat 500 gets groovy 70's trim level

The new 70’s inspired trim level will sit between the already available Pop and Lounge specifications, which Fiat hopes will bring back some of the retro styling of some of the older Fiat models.

The new ‘Colour Therapy’ trim level will build on the critically acclaimed stylish design of the Fiat 500 city car, yet add a few popular 70’s styling cues, including vibrant exterior paint jobs and white detailing.

The Colour Therapy trim is available with five different exterior paint jobs: New Age Cream, Countrypolitan Yellow, Pasodoble Red, Volare Blue and Tech House Grey, each giving a 70’s vibe.

As the Colour Therapy model sits in-between the Pop and Lounge trim levels, equipment is generous and includes air conditioning, ‘poolball’ gear knob, white retro wheel covers and white mirror covers.

On top of its new features, the Fiat 500 Colour Therapy retains the 500’s frugal engine line-up, which includes a 0.9-litre TwinAir and a 1.2-litre petrol.

Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK, said: “The special colours and stylish new touches will make the Fiat 500 an even more attractive proposition for our customers.

“Tasteful features such as the white door mirror covers and ‘poolball’ design gear knob in matching colour, take the popular 500 to a new level, showing just how timeless this classic city car really is.”

The new Fiat 500 Colour Therapy is available in both hatchback and convertible body styles.

Fiat 500 Colour Therapy prices start from £10,760 on the road.

Fiat vehicles are available from Perrys Fiat dealerships.
