Chevrolet has recently celebrated the release of its new Aveo supermini and it seems they can celebrate further as the small car has contributed to a massive 27 per cent jump in year-to-date sales.
Between January and June this year, Chevrolet has sold 8,811 units, compared to the same time last year where it sold 6,942.
The Aveo is a large part of this bump in sales as its low £9,995 price tag and stylish appeal has made it a highly attractive model to younger drivers.
Chevrolet’s elaborate advertisement campaigns have also intrigued the younger driver demographic as they have included a sky dive and a bungee jump.
However, the stylish appeal of the Aveo is definitely one of its key selling points as it offers a compact yet muscular exterior with prominent wheel archers and strong body contours.
The Aveo also offers three extensive trim levels: LS, LT and LTZ, alongside a frugal 1.3-litre diesel engine, which emits just 95g/km and is therefore road tax exempt.
Chevrolet can expect a further boost in sales as it is set to release the classic American muscle car in Europe, the Camaro. The Camaro is one of the most stylish cars in Chevrolet’s range as its large road dominating stance makes it truly eye-catching.
Chevrolet vehicles are available from Perry’s Dover and Rotherham dealerships.
