The Renault garden, which will appear from 3rd July at the show, will focus on green technology including recycled tyre tree planters, solar powered lights and a water butt.
Renault has also placed a British Gas electric charger in the plot in order to showcase how the Renault Twizy is powered.
The electric two-seat city car is a unique, open-air electric car offering zero emissions, a range of 50 miles and a top speed of 50mph.
Measuring just 2.34 metres in length, the Renault Twizy is a modern solution to congestion and lack of parking space in cities.
Andy Heiron, Head of Electric Vehicles Renault UK, said: “As keen gardeners will appreciate, you reap what you sow, so it is important we find new ways to look after our future. Renault understands that vehicles now need to emit less, make less noise and use energy more efficiently – that’s why we created our 100% electric Z.E. range.”
And, as the appearance at the flower show highlights, it is also a greener option than a conventional petrol or diesel.
Heiron added: “The development of electric vehicles is now a necessity. The Z.E. range offers eco-responsible mobility without compromising performance or comfort. Step into the age of electric and come and see our eco-friendly garden!”
The Renault Twizy is also the cheapest electric car on the market with prices starting from under £7,000. However, there is also a small battery leasing charge payable every month.
