The new Cruze estate adds a greater family appeal to the Chevrolet range as it offers vast amounts of storage space and luxurious equipment, according to the GM-owned car maker.
The new estate offers a similar stylish appeal to the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback but with a stretched rear end that gives it up to 1,478-litres of interior storage space. It retains the sporty dual-port front grille housing the large Chevrolet logo.
There are three engines available with the Cruze estate; two petrols and one diesel. The petrol powertrains include a 122bhp 1.6-litre and a 139bhp 1.8-litre. The diesel offering is a 128bhp 1.7-litre which emits CO2 emissions of just 119g/km.
These engines sit alongside three trim levels: LS, LT and LTZ Nav.
The entry level LS trim is available with the 1.6-litre and it includes air conditioning, follow-me-home headlamps, roof rails and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard. Prices for the LS model start from £15,375.
The mid level trim is the LT and it is available with all three of the engines. Standard features include cruise control, leather steering wheel, 16-inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. Prices for the LT model start from £16,475.
The top of the range trim is the LTZ Nav and it features the 1.7-litre engine and a range of kit upgrades which include satellite navigation, seven-inch colour display screen, a rear view camera and 17-inch alloy wheels. Prices for the LTZ Nav model start from £19,785.
Extensive specification details will be announced closer to the launch of the Chevrolet Cruze estate.
