The reason for this was because the Camaro in both coupe and convertible form will be arriving in Perrys Chevrolet dealerships in limited numbers this year – and after driving it, we can’t wait for sales to begin.
Packed with a monstrous 6.2-litre V8 engine, the Chevrolet Camaro weighs in at nearly two tonnes but can still reach 60mph from standing in less than six seconds.
Big, bold and brash, the new Chevrolet Camaro is not a car for nipping around town or saving you cash at the fuel pumps.
However, a wonderful engine, a huge amount of equipment and the typically ostentatious American design means the Chevrolet Camaro is sure to be snapped up when it goes on sale in the UK.
It will appear for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Chevrolet is giving ten tickets to the Festival to see the Camaro and have lunch with Chevrolet World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) driver Rob Huff.
To enter, contestants are being asked to post a message on Chevrolet Facebook wall and explain, in less than 25 words, why they want to win the tickets.
