The Corsa-based Vauxhall Mokka will be the smallest SUV crossover in Vauxhall’s range and matches 4×4 driving with low running costs.
Upon release the Mokka will offer three engines, a 1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.7-litre diesel. The most powerful engine in the range is the 1.4-litre turbo petrol, which produces 138bhp and 200Nm of torque.
The 1.7-litre diesel option offers low CO2 emissions of 124g/km and returns a combined fuel consumption of 60.1mpg.
All engines are equipped with a frugal stop/start system, which turns the car’s engine off when idling in traffic to save fuel.
The diesel engine can be matched with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. An all-wheel drive model is also offered, although that is only available with the manual transmission.
There are three trim levels available, S, Exclusiv and SE. Entry level features include steering wheel mounted controls, air conditioning, cruise control, hill start assist and a digital radio. The S trim starts from just £16,995.
The Exclusiv trim level includes 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors and a leather steering wheel. The Exclusiv trim starts from £17,995.
The top of the range SE trim offers bi-xenon headlights, tinted rear windows, front sports seats and leather seat facings. The SE trim starts from £20,495.
The new Vauxhall Mokka is available to order now. Vauxhall vehicles are available from Perrys Aylesbury, Barnsley and Broadstairs.
