The study, hosted by both J.D. Power and Associates and What Car?, evaluated nearly 18,000 different car owners around the UK, quizzing them on how they rated their car’s performance, design, comfort, cost of ownership and dealer service satisfaction – after an average of two years ownership.
This year, Jaguar came out on top in the study and was voted as the number one brand in the UK. Jaguar took the top spot from Lexus, which has held the title for 11 years.
The news comes as Jaguar enjoys a rise in sales of over 50 per cent over the last 12 months, while the Jaguar XJ was the top-selling luxury saloon in 2011.
When it comes down to evaluating Jaguar’s executive range, there is certain assessment criterion that leaps out for Jaguar, including comfort and performance.
The Jaguar XJ is powered by a 503bhp 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, and boasts a high quality interior with leather upholstery, satellite navigation and a 20 speaker sound system.
The Jaguar XF executive saloon is also more affordable with a new £29,950 price tag, powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that can return up to 52.3mpg.
Both Jaguar vehicles are available from Perry’s Huddersfield dealership.
