Ford Focus is the 2012 Car of the Year

The Ford Focus has received the Car of the Year award from expert car website Honest John as part of its 2012 awards. The winners of the Honest John awards were decided by the number of views a model receives on the site.

The Car of the Year award was given to the Focus because it has received the most views on the site. This popularity is reflected in its April sales figures where it sold 5,000 units and came in the top three places for the ten best sellers.

The Focus also received the Most Popular Small Family Car accolade in the awards, beating competition like the Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Astra.

The Focus is renowned for its generous equipment, affordability and wide range of engines, with the new Focus featuring Ford’s eco-signature engines, including the frugal 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol that emits just 109g/km.

The acclaimed Ford SYNC technology, which uses voice control to operate phone and music functions, is also offered on the Focus, as well as up to 1,148 litres of interior storage space.

It isn’t just Ford’s Focus model that has been attracting the attention of car enthusiasts as the Ford Mondeo was awarded with the Most Popular Large Family Car accolade and the Ford C-MAX with Most Popular MPV.

The Ford Focus starts from just £13,995.

Ford vehicles are available from Perry’s Aylesbury and High Wycombe dealerships.
