New Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros revealed

The Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros special edition is inspired by the ‘Roland Garros’ (or French Open) tennis tournament, one of the Grand Slam competitions and the biggest in France.

To celebrate the 2012 event, Peugeot has taken a standard Peugeot 308 CC in Allure trim and added £550 worth of equipment.

A price rise of £300 over the Allure specification means a saving of £250, according to Peugeot, which has set Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros prices at £25,845.

The four-seat, special edition convertible includes black and ‘pearl white’ paint, luxury leather seats, 18″ alloy wheels and embroidered carpet mats.

Extra equipment includes a wind stop, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros is available with a choice of 1.6-litre petrol engine in 156 or 200hp, or an optional 2.0-litre diesel developing 163hp.

The new Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros edition joins the standard Peugeot 308 CC range at Perrys Peugeot dealerships.

The Peugeot 308 CC boasts a hard-top roof that can turn the car from a coupe to a cabriolet in under 20 seconds.

The two-door, four-seat car offers a 465-litre boot which is condensed to 266 litres when the roof is down and increased room for passengers over the smaller Peugeot 207 CC.

Standard Peugeot 308 CC models come with a three-year warranty with unlimited mileage for the first two years and breakdown assistance from the AA.

Peugeot 308 CC prices start from £21,445. The Peugeot 308 CC Roland Garros special edition starts from £25,845.
