The British-built saloon was voted as the winner by readers of the car website after a 2012 update to the design, equipment and running costs of the car.
The executive saloon has previously beaten the likes of the BMW 5 Series and Audi A5 to take awards from BusinessCar, AutoExpress, What Car? and Fleet World.
Dan Harrison, Editor, honestjohn.co.uk, said: “The Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series may be newer but the figures show that our users love the Jaguar XF. Its blend of style, class and quality has big appeal among our audience and we have regular emails from XF owners.”
Key to the success of the new Jaguar XF is the introduction of a new engine, a fuel-efficient 2.2-litre diesel delivering the lowest running costs ever seen on the executive saloon.
The new diesel engine delivers fuel economy of 52.3mpg and can travel over 800 miles on a single tank with the correct type of eco-driving.
It is also the cheapest Jaguar in terms of road tax and Benefit-in-Kind tax for business users because of its lower CO2 emissions.
Other engines include a 3.0-litre V6 diesel in 240Ps and 275PS variations, a 5.0-litre V8 petrol and a supercharged version of the petrol for performance XFR models.
Available in a selection of trim levels, standard Jaguar XF cars come with allow wheels, rain sensing wipers, rear parking aid, mood lighting and automatic headlamps.
Standard equipment includes climate control, a seven-inch colour screen, leather steering wheel, DAB radio and Bluetooth.
The new Jaguar XF is on sale now complete with a design update for 2012. New Jaguar XF prices start from under £30,000 from Perrys Jaguar of Huddersfield.
