The new Mazda2 Venture Edition is a five-door hatchback that adds more equipment to the Tamura trim level for an extra £1,000.
Mazda2 Venture Edition prices start from £12,995 on-the-road and the new special edition adds new 16″ gunmetal alloy wheels and a sports styling kit to differentiate it from standard Mazda2 models.
Front fog lights, privacy glass for the rear windows and a new rear bumper also appear on the Venture Edition to complete the exterior design.
Inside, the new special edition Mazda2 includes a satellite navigation system, 5.8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth and climate control air conditioning.
There are also two new body colours – Dolphin Grey and Burgundy Red – and some new interior upholstery to choose from.
The new Mazda2 Venture Edition comes with the 1.3-litre, 84PS petrol engine from the standard range. The engine returns 56.5mpg and CO2 emissions of 115g/km – putting the car in Band B of UK road tax.
Peter Allibon, Sales Director, Mazda UK, said: “”The availability of the new Mazda2 Venture Edition, with its unique combination of advanced technology, sports styling, a premium interior and great added value, will attract new consumers to our brand.”
Mazda will limit the number of Venture Edition models to just 1,500 in the UK, according to the Japanese manufacturer and they are available to order from Mazda UK dealerships now.
The Mazda2 is a sporty supermini hatchback currently on sale in the UK from £10,500. The Mazda2 is an award-winning supermini having won the 2008 World Car of the Year title in its current generation.
A new, updated model for 2012 updates the design, styling and engine options of the Mazda2 to offer lower running costs and more modern styling.
