The new 2012 Twingo Renaultsport 133 will be available to order from 2 April 2012 and the first models will arrive in Perrys Motors showrooms on 23 April.
The new, Renault Twingo-based hot hatch gets a cosmetic makeover in keeping with the new-look Twingo, which itself was launched in February priced at £10,350.
However, the new Twingo Renaultsport 133 adds F1-style blade at the front, new front lights, a black rear-spoiler, 16″ alloy wheels and more aerodynamic wheel arches.
There is also a chrome tailpipe at the rear and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard on the Twingo Renaultsport 133.
Inside, it gets Renaultsport stitching on the steering wheel and seats, white highlights throughout and extra tinted windows.
Other equipment includes cruise control, Bluetooth and electric gloss black door mirrors to complete the aggressive, performance feel of the compact hot hatch.
Under the bonnet, the city car-based hot hatch comes with a powerful 1.6-litre, 133hp engine delivering a top speed of 125mph and a 0-62mph sprint time of 8.7 seconds.
On top of the standard specification, the Twingo Renaultsport 133 comes with optional, sportier ‘Cup chassis’ for an extra £700.
The Cup chassis comes with 17″ gloss black alloy wheels or alternative Anthracite wheels, wider tyres and stiffer springs and dampers to improve performance.
The new 2012 Twingo Renaultsport 133 will be available to order from early next month. It will arrive in Renault dealerships later in April, where it will join the standard Twingo in the revamped city car range.
