With the 508 saloon already on sale, Peugeot is going the extra mile and is set to release a new 508 RXH estate model with a frugal Hybrid4 engine, with prices starting from £33,695.
This new 508 RXH Hybrid4 will be going on sale in May this year alongside the new 508 saloon Hybrid4 model, which is set to make its debut in UK showrooms in July.
The new 508 RXH Hybrid4, which is exclusively available as an estate body style, is a premium, top-of-the-range specification vehicle that has more high-end features than the 508 saloon.
Inside it features a panoramic glass roof, colour head up display and front and rear parking aid with parallel parking assist.
From the outside the RXH features a similar front-end to the 508 saloon with bonnet impressions and wrap around headlights.
However, the RXH comes with a raised ride height, 18-inch alloy wheels and, due to it being an estate, an extended rear end.
The new 508 RXH uses the same Hybrid4 powertrain as the Peugeot 3008 and it gives a combined power output of 200bhp with emissions as low as 107g/km. It also has a top speed of 132mph and returns up to 68.9mpg. The Hybrid4 engine goes alongside the RXH’s four wheel drive system.
As the new RXH’s emissions are as low as 107g/km, its Benefit-in-Kind taxation is as little as 12%, which is good news for business user choosers.
Phil Robson, fleet and used car director, at Peugeot UK, said; “Never until now has there been a choice of cars that comprehensively ticks so many boxes.
“I firmly believe we have a real success story on our hands with the 508, and I think businesses will greatly value the considerable virtues that we have to offer in these new and accomplished HYbrid4 products”.
Orders are now open for the new Peugeot 500 RXH estate Hybrid4 ahead of its release in May. Prices start from £33,695 at UK Peugeot dealerships.
