New performance Seat Leon revealed

To celebrate its February sales figures Seat has released a new sporty trim level for its popular Leon FR+ model in line with the release of the new 12 plates.

The new Supercopa trim includes a styling kit that essentially builds on the FR+ model and gives it a slightly sportier appeal. From the outside the new trim offers a re-worked front and rear bumper, more pronounced rear spoiler, twin exhausts and 18″ alloy wheels.

There is also a choice of body paints including Nevada White, Emocion Red and Speed Blue.

As well as the Supercopa trim giving the new Seat Leon FR+ model an edge in terms of sport appeal, performance figures are also improved with the choice of either a 208bhp 2.0 TSI petrol and a 168bhp 2.0 TDI turbodiesel.

Inside the new trim adds a Seat media system which includes a five-inch colour touch screen with satellite navigation. Other interior features include a DAB digital radio, Bluetooth compatibility, and rear parking sensors.

The added features of the Supercopa trim amount to £3,000 worth of sport body kit, but Seat are offering it for just £750 on top of the FR+ Leon’s standard price.

This means prices for the Seat Leon FR+ Supercopa start from just £22,530 on-the-road for the for the 2.0 diesel model.

Seat UK Head of Marketing, Chris Stevens, said: “Gorgeous styling, superb levels of standard equipment and unrivalled value for money are the hallmarks of our cars, and they come together to exceptional effect in the Leon FR+ Supercopa.

“I’m sure this special edition model will, quite rightly, quickly become one of our most highly sought-after vehicles.”

Seat vehicles are available from the Perrys Seat of Aylesbury dealership.
