The Citroen DS3 Racing S. Loeb uses the name of Citroen’s multi-WRC title-winning driver Sebastian Loeb, one of the most successful rallying drivers ever.
It comes with the same 200bhp engine as the Citroen DS3 Racing and like the car it is based on, comes in a series of just 200 limited editions.
However, the new Citroen DS3 Racing S.Loeb does away with the eye-catching orange and black exterior colours in favour of a new matt black colour with red highlights for the roof, door mirrors and grille.
Inside, the black sports seats are offset by red on the dashboard and gearstick base. A new identification plate showing the car’s limited edition number and special decals can also be found inside.
The Citroen DS3 Racing S.Loeb will be fitted with satellite navigation from launch, but Citroen has not revealed how many will be sold in the UK.
Prices have also been kept back by Citroen prior to the car’s launch at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
It will appear alongside other racing-inspired cars such as the new Citroen DS4 Racing concept car. Other cars, including a new ‘Ultra Prestige’ trim level for the Citroen DS3 will be revealed on the Citroen stand in Europe’s biggest motor show.
Prices and specification for the Citroen DS3 Racing Loeb special edition have not been announced. The previous Citroen DS3 Racing cost from £23,100.
Standard Citroen DS3 prices start from £12,900 for the upmarket, three-door supermini. It is available now from Citroen dealerships in the UK.
