Kia Picanto stars in Take Me Out competition

Perrys Kia in Preston offered the prize for all test drives of the compact Kia Picanto city car as well as test drives of the Fiesta-rivalling Kia Rio and the new Kia Cee’d last weekend.

To celebrate the Korean brand sponsoring the dating programme where men try to win a date to the Isle of Fernandos – more commonly known as Tenerife, Kia Preston gave away a holiday for two to a lucky draw winner.

The only criteria to enter was to test drive one of the new Kia cars at the showroom, with a choice of Picanto, Rio and Cee’d all available under the terms of the competition.

Three-door Kia Picanto prices started from £7,545, while new Kia Rio prices start from below £9,495. The Kia Cee’d hatchback, the Ford Focus-rival in Kia’s range, costs from £11,495 – £1,500 less than the Focus.

The test drives took place at the Blackpool Road dealership in Preston, which sells a full range of new Kia cars and offers Kia test drives.

Kia’s sponsorship of the hit television programme, hosted by comedian Paddy McGuinness, has led to several Take Me Out-themed giveaways.

The manufacturer is currently giving away a new Kia Picanto to a fan from its Facebook page. To enter, fans are being asked to watch a video of a series of men trying out chat up lines.

Fans must vote for their favourite chat up line to be in with a chance of winning a new Kia Picanto in a prize draw.
