In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Renault has launched a new leap year wedding proposal competition with the chance to win a new Twingo Dynamique and an all expenses paid night in a London hotel with a meal for two.
Traditionally, women have proposed to their partners on the 29th of February, which comes around every four years as part of a leap year.
Renault is taking advantage of this year’s leap year by offering a couple an all-new 2012 Renault Twingo for the best proposal on the date.
To win the competition competitors have to come up with the best and most original wedding proposal idea.
As well as winning an array of prizes the proposal will also be filmed and given to the couple on a DVD – probably only in the event the proposal ends with a ‘yes’.
By winning the Renault Twingo Dynamique, drivers will benefit from a highly customisable city car that is both practical and economical, according to the French car maker.
As well as winning the Twingo Dynamique, worth over £10,000, its engine emits just 119g/km and returns 55.4mpg, meaning it will be affordable to run.
Due to its snug size and good mileage the Twingo is pretty universal in terms of function as it can squeeze into tight city-like parking spaces, and can be used as a school/work run-around.
The Twingo’s design is very distinctive as it incorporates Renault’s new front end design, up to 14 different exterior paint jobs and interior trim colour manipulation.
The closing date for the leap year wedding proposal competition and the chance to win these prizes is the 20th February 2012.
