Since its initial launch in 2009 the Seat Exeo has been the cornerstone in the executive market segment for the Spanish manufacturer.
With the two new revamped Exeo models now on sale, the Exeo saloon and Exeo estate, Seat are hoping to get a new foothold in the executive car market and challenge its main competitors.
Seat UK Managing Director Peter Wyhinny said: ‘The showroom arrival of the freshly upgraded Exeo range comes at a great time for Seat. With another record year under our belt in 2011, and sales continuing their upward trend so far this year, our dealers are already busy”.
Both of the new Exeo models benefit from interior and exterior enhancements, as well as a new frugal engine. Exterior changes include new bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and new alloy wheel designs.
Its interior also gains to luxury features that include fully revised upholstery and a leather trimmed steering wheel.
Under the bonnet of the new models is a new frugal 2.0 TDI diesel engine that emits CO2 emissions of just 129g/km. With Seat’s Ecomotive engine range on its way for the Exeo, Seat is hoping that when combined with stop- start technology the 129g/km figure can drop to below 120g/km.
Wyhinny added: ‘2012 is set to be the most exciting year in SEAT’s history, and the Exeo gets things off to the perfect start.’Prices for the new Seat Exeo saloon start from £19,480 and prices for the estate model start from £20,650.
Seat vehicles are available from Perry’s Aylesbury dealership.
