An additional model is to be added to Citroen’s Dispatch Van range to further expand its appeal in the growing market segment.
The new addition is a Euro 5 Dispatch Crew Van with six seats designed to sit alongside the five-seat Berlingo Crew Van in the Citroen range.
As well as benefiting from all the standard features of the Dispatch van, such as a CD player, satellite navigation and a trip computer, the Crew Van adds greater practicality with the added convenience of more space. The Crew Van has a maximum floor length of 2,110mm and a main area load deck length of 1,700mm.
The six seats come in two rows of three with the rear passenger’s seats benefitting from adjustable headrests and three-point inertia reel seat belts.
The Crew Van also includes a removable carpet to make cleaning easier. Other useful features include a ceiling-mounted light and the option of fixed or sliding windows.
A new Euro 5 HDi 125 engine is offered on the Crew Van which emits just 179g/km and returns up to 41.4mpg.
cott Michael, Citroen’s commercial vehicle operations manager said: “With its combination of 1,067kg payload, 6 seats and a large load compartment, the Dispatch Crew Van meets most operator needs in this growing LCV market sector.
“Most importantly, as the Dispatch Crew Van has a payload of over 1,000kg, it is possible for VAT-registered business customers to reclaim the VAT paid on the vehicle.”
Prices for the Dispatch Crew Van start from £21,120. It is also available with Citroen’s two year/unlimited mileage or three year/100,000 mile warranty.
Citroen vehicles are available from Perry’s Barnsley, Huddersfield and Milton Keynes dealerships.
