Citroen is upgrading its Berlingo range for the New Year with a new look, more equipment and better emissions.
The Berlingo Multispace people carrier now includes a wider and more defined grille, new headlamps and what Citroen calls ‘more aerodynamic side mirrors’.
A ‘Black Pack’ is also offered (at extra cost) on the new Multispace and this includes an Onyx Black trim on the top of the bumper, rear number plate moulding and side mirrors. The new Multispace is available in three trim levels: VT, VTR and XTR.
The Dispatch Combi model is one of the largest passenger vehicles in Citroen’s range and its new model offers similar design changes to the Multispace with the likes of a new front grille. A new exterior paint job called ‘Hickory Brown’ is also available on 2012 versions.
One of the most significant additions is the new Grip Control feature which allows the driver to choose between four different driving modes: Normal, Terrain, Snow or Sand. These modes optimise traction to adapt to different driving environments. There are two available trim levels for the Dispatch Combi: Combi and Combi SX
The Multispace offers a total of five engines, which includes e-HDi micro-hybrid technology as well stop & start. The most economical engine in the range is the e-HDi 90 Airdream which emits just 125g/km of CO2 emissions.
The Dispatch Combi offers four engines with the most economical being the HDi 125 which offers CO2 emissions of 172g/km.
The new Citroen Berlingo models are available to order now and will be on sale in April.
Citroen vehicles are available from Perry’s Barnsley, Huddersfield and Milton Keynes dealerships.
