This new advert is entitled ‘Test Me’, and it pretty much does just that. It tests the abilities of Alfa models by putting them face to face with the likes of the Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Polo and the BMW 1 series.
One of the comparisons made is between the CO2 emissions of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4-litre MultiAir and the Volkswagen Golf 1.4-litre. The advert reveals that the 1.4-litre Giulietta betters the VW’s emissions by 18g/km.
Another is the comparison between the mile per gallon figure of the Alfa MiTo 1.3-litre and the Mini One D. The advert reveals the MiTo beats the Mini by 6.4mpg.
But the advert doesn’t just compare the raw elements of the car like emissions, it also compares servicing qualities. The advert states that all Alfa Romeo MiTo and Giulietta models offer 3 years complimentary servicing, which is something that is an additional cost on VW Polo and Golf models.
Alfa Romeo hopes that this new advert will eliminate any doubts of the manufacturer being any less capable and competitive than any others on the market.
