Is the Citroen DS4 a perfect fleet car?

Outdoor advertisers Clear Channel have taken delivery of the DS4 cars and as more and more businesses are agree deals with Citroen to supply the DS4 for their UK fleets.

This new agreement signed by the business includes other models such as the new Citroen C4 Picasso and C5 saloon models alongside the hatchback.

Key to the success of the Citroen DS4, the second in the upmarket DS range after the Citroen DS3 supermini, is its frugal engines and premium level of equipment.

The hatchback boasts a unique raised ground height and spacious boot along with enough space to seat five in comfort. A high level of standard equipment and more premium materials than the C4 it is based on are also a draw for business.

The five-door Citroen DS4 is available with a Stop & Start system and e-HDI micro hybrid technology, which gives it better emissions and ultimately a lower Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax band.

In terms of BIK tax the DS4’s CO2 emissions of just 114g/km and impressive mileage of 64.2mpg means that it falls into the lowest Bik tax rate of just 13%.

This also means that the DS4 qualifies for zero Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) in its first year. With this low BIK tax rate and low starting price of just £18,150 the DS4 is perfect for businesses.

Citroen vehicles are available from Perry’s Barnsley, Huddersfield and Milton Keynes dealerships.
