Greenest ever Seat Leon prices cut by £3,000

Seat has launched a number of price cuts on its new car range for 2012 with the most eye-catching deal available on the five-door Seat Leon hatchback.

The Seat Leon S Copa model, which comes with a 1.6-litre TDI engine developing 105ps, has had £3,085 cut from its price to reduce it to just £14,795.

The discounted new Seat Leon is also the most frugal in the entire range, meaning lower running costs to match the lower price.

The Seat Leon S Copa 105ps model comes with the E Ecomotive badge to signify its position as the greenest model in the range. Its engine emits just 99g/km of CO2 emissions and is exempt from road tax in the UK and the London congestion charge.

This is due to the introduction of fuel-saving Start/Stop technology, energy recovery when the car brakes and an aero pack to improve aerodynamics and reduce drag.

Seat is also offering a selection of finance deals for the Seat Leon E Ecomotive alongside similar deals for the likes of the Seat Altea, Seat Altea XL and Seat Exeo.

Seat will also offer three years’ free servicing on other Seat Leon specifications when they are purchased using Seat finance.

Seat dealerships in the UK will be offering the deals from this week and Seat has promised they will ‘last into the year’ as it targets private and business sales for 2012.

Seat UK Head of Marketing Chris Stevens said: “After what I’m confident will prove to have been a record year for Seat in 2011, I know our dealers are looking forward to an even more successful year ahead.”
