As part of a competition for the Channel 4 music show ‘On Track with SEAT’, 25 year old Electrician Daniel Davies, from Merseyside, has won a Seat Ibiza SC Sportrider.
This unique supermini was specially produced to celebrate the second season of the Channel 4 show and includes state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment worth £4,000 alone.
To build it, Seat teamed-up with Kenwood Electronics who was able to give the car everything from a 2,800-watt sound system to a 22-inch TV screen in the boot. It also comes with leather seats and sporty 17-inch alloy wheels.
Although this model is a limited edition it is not completely out of reach to customers as its design is largely based on the Seat Ibiza SC 1.4 85 PS Sportrider – a model that comes with a similar sports design and stylish appeal.
Standard equipment on the PS Sportrider includes climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors and a combined USB/Aux-in port. The PS Sportrider uses a 1.4-litre engine and has a top speed of 110mph and a 0-62mph capability of 11.8 seconds.
The limited edition SC Sportrider is a small example of Seat’s sports-inspired models which is reflected in a number of other models including the Seat Leon.
Prices for the Seat Ibiza PS Sportrider start from £12,625. Seat vehicles are available from Perry’s Aylesbury dealership.
