Fixed price servicing revealed for older Seat cars

The ‘It’s Fixed’ scheme has been introduced by the manufacturer in the UK for all Seat cars aged between three and ten years.

The deal is expected to benefit owners of more expensive Seat cars because both a minor and a full major service cost £129 and £249 respectively regardless of the Seat car.

Seat’s fixed price also includes VAT, parts and labour for the minor service. Parts include things such as pollen filters, spark plugs and oil.

Meanwhile, Seat will offer a single, up-front payment for other services such as an air conditioning service at £69, brake pad replacement at £99 and a cambelt change at £299. An MoT is fixed at £39 at participating dealers.

Nigel Griggs, Head of Aftersales at Seat UK, said: “Value for money is top of everyone’s shopping list these days, which is why ‘It’s Fixed!’ makes so much sense for owners of older Seat models.

“Returning their vehicles to the Seat network where they can be worked on by Seat-trained technicians using Seat-approved parts and with the very latest Seat tools and technology to hand ensures a top quality job and great peace of mind.”

Seat has also introduced a ‘while you wait’ service for some maintenance and a courtesy car programme if the servicing or repairs will take a little longer.

The offers apply only to participating Seat dealerships and apply to all seat cars aged between three and ten years.

This means owners of slightly older Seat Ibiza, Seat Leon, Seat Altea and Seat Exeo cars can all benefit from fixed price servicing and a single up-front payment.
