Euro NCAP has presented its results for the fifth and last launch of 2011, which reveal that the new Range Rover Evoque has earned a five star rating.
The Range Rover Evoque earned impressive percentage figures, with adult occupant protection of 86 per cent and a safety assist percentage of 86 per cent.
Specifically in the side barrier impact test, “the Evoque scored maximum points, with good protection of all body areas”, says Euro NCAP.
The Evoque’s 86 per cent safety assist rating was down to its high standard of safety equipment, which includes ESC (which comes as standard on all Evoque models).
Stability control will be mandatory in 2012, but all current models in the Evoque range include the safety aid as standard.
The Range Rover Evoque is out now and prices start from £27,955. Range Rover vehicles are available from Perry’s Halifax and Huddersfield – Rocar Moores dealerships.
