Kia’s sporty entry-level Picanto has impressed yet again and won the iF product design award, which makes it Kia’s fourth iF design award in three years.
The recently released Kia Picanto, only available in Europe, has been recognised for its ‘pure design quality’ and its ‘workmanship, innovation and eco-friendliness’.
These popular design features include the Picanto’s stylish sporty exterior and of course its high quality interior with Bluetooth, hands-free mobile phone use with voice activation, height adjustable seats, air conditioning and CD player with MP3 compatibility. Everything a small city like car needs.
The Picanto’s environmental friendliness with CO2 emissions as little as 95g/km is just another reason why it got the award.
Kia’s industry-leading seven-year/100,000 mile warranty is also available on the small Kia Picanto. Despite this, the Picanto comes with a price of under £8,000 for entry-level models.
Previously, three other Kia cars have been honoured in the iF award over the past three years including the Venga B-segment MPV, Sportage compact SUV and Optima mid-size saloon.
Kia’s Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer said: “Receiving the iF product design award for the new Kia Picanto is a great success for our design team and it is welcome recognition of our brand’s design-oriented strategy.
“The second generation Picanto displays a very purposeful, self-assured design, and its sportiness is particularly underscored by the three-door version.”
All Kia models, including the all new Kia Picanto, are available from Perry’sBurnley dealership, Preston dealership and Rotherham dealership.
