The Evoque’s latest award is the ‘SUV of the year’ title which it has been given to it by Angus MacKenzie who is editor-in-chief of the US publication Motor Trend.
The Evoque was been given the award for its style, efficiency and refinement, according to the judges.
Since its release the Evoque has been without a doubt a popular model in terms of premium and stylistic feel. This is reflected in its compact body style, array of colour choices and luxurious interior, which Victoria Beckham was brought on to help design.
The Evoque’s interior includes things like HDD Premium navigation system, climate control, smart illuminations and leather steering wheel.
The most popular engine available is the Range Rover Evoque 2.2-litre , four cylinder turbodiesel, which is available with two different power outputs (150hp and 190bhp). The Evoque’s emissions start from just 149g/km.
The Range Rover Evoque also comes in two-wheel drive option – the first Range Rover to do so – and as a result is the greenest Range Rover ever built.
John Edwards, Global Brand Director for Land Rover commented on winning the award, he said:
“Since its global debut a year ago, the Range Rover Evoque has made an unmistakable impact on the media and customers alike.
“This latest awards win brings the Evoque’s tally to an impressive twenty two and I am delighted that it comes from one of America’s most pre-eminent publications.”
The Range Rover Evoque is out now and starts from £27,955 and is available with Perry’s Halifax dealership and Perry’s Huddersfield dealership.
