This publicity stunt will see stunt driver Terry Grant ‘mercilessly’ destroy this balloon logo (leaving just four behind) displaying the ‘power and precision’ of the 170bhp sporty MiTo hatchback.
As well as further promoting the MiTo model, specifically the top of the range Quadrifoglio Verde trim-level, it will be attempting the Guinness World Record for most balloons burst by one car alone.
With Terry Grants already acquired 19 world records, this record attempt is looking very possible.
There is also a Facebook campaign for this event where an Alfa Romeo track day at the Goodwood Motor Circuit can be won by guessing what location the four surviving balloons will be in.
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde trim-level is quite literally ‘bursting’ with excitement, says Alfa, which is using the record attempt – and accompanying puns – to highlight the top level Alfa MiTo model.
It’s the MiTo models top trim and has lots of fancy features such as 18″ sport alloy wheels, slick body design and a black leather steering wheel which is accompanied by an all black interior, which looks very stylish.
The Quadrifoglio Verde trim a sporty trim level fitted with a powerful 170bhp engine – the most power available in the range.
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde is available from many dealerships including Perry’s Alfa Romeo Amersham dealership. Prices for the MiTo range start from £10,745.
