Perrys Peugeot in Milton Keynes invited customers who had bought the RCZ, Top Gear magazine’s Coupe of the Year 2010, to drive their new cars to a country manor last Sunday (23 October).
The event was designed to celebrate the stylish 2+2 seat coupe, which was launched last year to critical acclaim because of its eye-catching design, which includes a unique ‘double bubble’ roof.
The ‘RCZ Ride and Drive Day’ took in some of Buckinghamshire’s best country roads after leaving the dealership before stopping at Hartwell House and its ninety-acre grounds for afternoon tea.
It was the first time the car dealership in Milton Keynes had held the event and eight Peugeot RCZ owners took part in the eye-catching convoy.
A Perrys spokesperson said: “Based on the success and the positive feedback from the guests, we hope to make this an annual event.”
The Peugeot RCZ, the French car maker’s answer to the Audi TT coupe, has won several awards including Auto Express Best Coupe 2011 since its launch.
Priced from £21,210 on-the-road, the Peugeot RCZ comes with air conditioning, rear parking aid and alloy wheels as standard in entry-level Sport specification.
A higher-spec Peugeot RCZ GT is also available from £23,560 alongside a matt grey special edition Peugeot RCZ Asphalt, which costs £29,995 on-the-road.
The new Peugeot RCZ is available from Perrys Milton Keynes now, giving customers the chance to join the convoy at the 2012 event.
