Developed by the World Rally Championship (WRC) winning team Citroën Racing, the special edition DS3 Racing hot hatch features a racing-inspired design and a high level of equipment.
Based on the Citroen DS3 supermini, Top Gear’s Car of the Year in 2011, the DS3 Racing is the performance version of the stylish hatchback.
The turbo-charged 207hp petrol engine delivers a 0-62mph time of just 6.5 seconds, and at the same time is environmentally friendly compared to other hot hatches with 44.1mpg fuel efficiency and just 149g/km CO2 emissions.
Some featured equipment of the new Citroen includes a sports exhaust system, tailored turbo-charger, sports steering with a modified control system, stereo radio/MP3 compatible CD player with steering mounted controls, Bluetooth system with USB socket, Hi-Fi System with six speakers, racing mats and Citroen sport racing seats.
The Citroen DS3’s exterior has 18″ Sport Orange ‘Nemesis’ alloy wheels, carbon fibre kit, dark tinted rear windows, halogen headlamps, front fog lights and automatic rain-sensitive windscreen wipers.
To help its appeal to younger buyers, the car has now made its debut in Lott’s latest video. Marc Raven, Citroën communications director, said: “Citroën’s association with Pixie is a great way to introduce DS3 to a younger generation of music lovers.
“Having the video on our Facebook channel is also a fantastic way to reward our loyal fans – almost 70,000 of them and still growing. The new single is a stand-out track, full of energy and fantastic performances – the ideal environment for DS3 Racing.”
The new special edition Citroen DS3 Racing starts from £23,205. Pixie Lott’s new track is out 7th November.
