Priced from £17,800, the new Fiat 500C by Gucci is based on the standard Fiat 500 small car but with a fashionable twist courtesy of the Italian designer.
These include the 16″ alloy wheels taken from the 500 by Gucci car and the Gucci signatures on the door pillars, but the drop top also boasts some unique touches.
The black fabric roof is adorned with the traditional green-red-green stripe used by Gucci to identify its designs and white and black body colours include glitter highlights and brushed chrome-plated parts.
Inside the fashion-conscious update continues with a complete overhaul to the standard Fiat 500 interior.
As expected, the interior is awash with satin, specialist stitching and chrome highlights, with velvet effect finish on the radio panel and leather seats with bespoke prints designed for the Fiat 500 by Gucci range.
The fashion tie-ins do not end there; all drivers of the Fiat 500C by Gucci will be automatically subscribed to an exclusive Gucci lifestyle brochure and catalogue.
More practical inclusions in the cabin include climate control, Blue&Me entertainment system incorporating a radio, CD player, MP3 player and rear parking sensors and a full set of seven airbags.
The Fiat 500C by Gucci will be available to buy online or in UK Fiat dealers from this month, where it will join the 500 by Gucci in the exclusive line up.
The Fiat 500 by Gucci has been a big success for the Italian car maker and UK sales have reflected this. The standard Fiat 500 was named as Top Gear’s Sexiest Car and the Fiat 500 by Gucci has appeared in Perrys’ top ten most fashionable cars.
