Alongside the new three year warranty offered on all Renault models, a new scheme has been launched to make Renault showrooms the best dealership experience in the country.
Nicknamed ‘Project Air’, Perrys dealership in Aylesbury will be updated to make it more modern and comfortable for customers visiting to take a look at the latest Renault deals.
The project includes new fixtures, fittings, floors and lighting to create what Renault calls an ‘airy and light feeling’ in keeping with the new cars in the Renault range.
According to Renault: “Currently a fifth of UK dealerships have benefited from the programme and customer feedback has been overwhelming positive. The rest of the core Renault network will be completed by the end of 2014.”
Labelling the move ‘the last piece of the jigsaw’, Renault is upgrading its dealerships in preparation for a new style seen in its car range.
First introduced in the Renault DeZir electric supercar concept, the new car designs will first be seen in the new Renault Twingo city car, which will sport the new front end for the first time on a road car.
The new Twingo will feature the elongated grille with LED lights incorporated in the design for the first time, but the design is also expected to appear on Renault’s new electric car range.
This includes the Renault Fluence, the electric saloon designed to take on the Ford Focus Electric when it arrives in 2012.
The Renault Zoe supermini and Renault Twizy city car will extend the electric car range to three, making the French manufacturer one of the leaders in electric technology in the UK by 2014.
