According to the latest Car Dealer Survey, a ‘league table’ of UK car makers voted for by the dealerships that sell the cars, Land Rover is a new entry in the top five with an overall score of 84 per cent.
This, says Car Dealer magazine, is down to the forward planning in preparation for the Range Rover Evoque, a car which is set to be one of the most exciting new cars in 2011.
Forward planning was voted as ‘faultless’ by dealerships as the Evoque launch draws nearer in the UK.
Priced from £30,000 the Range Rover Evoque is a smaller, more styled version of the Range Rover. Built in three- and five-door variations, the low sloping roof, availability of two-wheel drive and engines offering the lowest CO2 emissions of any Range Rover to date, the Evoque is a unique model in the range.
It even features three interior ‘themes’ designed with the help of Victoria Beckham as Land Rover targets the affluent city buyer with the latest model.
Other car makers to triumph in the survey include Seat in first place, Kia in third and Vauxhall in ninth.
In total 1,000 dealers responded in the survey, rating the car makers on a variety of criteria including finance and warranty deals, aftersales support, the supply of new cars and brand awareness.
