Ford reduced the price of the Focus to just £14,000 this week with the introduction of a Studio model.
It’s a fine car, and at a price of £14,000 is incredibly desirable. However, here at Perrys we think we can go one better for those motorists looking for a good deal on a new Ford Focus this weekend.
That’s because a quick glance at our hot deals section of the Perrys website shows we are currently selling a five-door Ford Focus Style for just £13,000 – a reduction of £1,000 on the recommended retail price.
The 1.6-litre petrol model comes with a new 61 plate and is available through our Aylesbury dealership.
Alternatively, a Ford Focus Edge – boasting more equipment than the entry-level Studio model – is available for just £13,500, a saving of £5,000 despite the higher specification.
Again fitted with a 1.6-litre petrol engine matched to a manual gearbox, the Ford Focus Edge delivers a saving of £2,505 on the recommended retail price of £16,000.
Despite the low price, buyers will get Bluetooth with voice control and a USB port as part of Ford’s SYNC package. Not for nothing does Ford call the Focus technology-packed!
There is also steering column audio controls to adjust the radiocd player. It also features a DAB radio and six in-car speakers.
Elsewhere, there are electric front windows, aluminium finish to the door handles and 60/40 folding seats to increase luggage room.
The car also comes with Ford’s clever Easyfuel system, which ensures drivers to not put the wrong type of fuel into the engine and cut out the risk of costly breakdown and repair costs.
The new Ford Focus also features a five-star safety rating and comes with driver, front passenger, front side and side curtain airbags.
The 1.6-litre petrol engine delivers impressive CO2 emissions of just 135g/km – or £115 for a year’s Vehicle Excise Duty. A frugal family car, it also delivers nearly 50mpg on the combined cycle.
