The convertible version of the small, retro-styled car, will be decked out in Gucci exterior and interior colours in a special edition model after the Fiat 500 by Gucci attracted over 3,000 pre-orders since going on sale earlier in the year.
The most obvious change is the inclusion of a black soft-top, electronically-folding roof which boasts the traditional green-red-green stripe of the fashion house.
A choice of matte white and gloss black exterior colour is available and all models come with striking 16" alloy wheels with a double ‘G’ Gucci logo in the centre. Other signs of its fashion origins come with badges on the tailgate and door pillar.
Inside, the seats have been decked out in two-tone leather and Gucci prints adorn most of the rear trim. Chrome highlights and black dashboard are also included in the upmarket interior.
Equipment includes a CDMP3 player, Fiat’s Blue&Me multimedia system and rear parking sensors. The leather upholstery extends to the steering wheel and automatic climate control is included as standard.
The Fiat 500C by Gucci will be available in limited numbers and will only go on sale in selected dealerships across Europe.
However, the car will tour Europe first, visiting several major cities including London towards the end of October.
Prices for the latest fashion-themed Fiat 500C special edition have not been announced, but based on European prices £17,500 is expected to be around the mark for UK customers.
As with the Fiat 500 by Gucci, a range of extra accessories will also be available, including driving gloves, tracksuits and watches.
The Fiat 500C by Gucci will arrive in showrooms across Europe from August, but is expected to go on sale in the UK later in the year.
