The offer, available to all Ford drivers who take their car in for an MOT, service or non-warranty repair, means four points will be available for every £1 spent in participating shops such as Sainsbury’s.
Nectar points can be used to pay for goods and services including fuel at the pumps, meaning Ford drivers will be able to double up their points during a summer check on their cars.
Andy Barratt, Ford’s UK customer service director, said: "Summer vacations are a popular time for driving, so now is the perfect time for our customers to earn extra points while they get a holiday check-up for their car.”
The offer applies to all Ford cars ranging from the small Ford Ka city car to the larger models in the range such as the Ford C-Max and seven-seat Grand C-Max.
All vehicles under nine years old are eligible for the offer as long as they have less than 100,000 miles on the odometer.
Ford will also offer up to 12 months free roadside assistance covering both the UK and Europe as part of the double points deal.
The Ford offer will run from 1 August to 31 August inclusive, giving Ford drivers an entire month to book a service and take advantage of the summer offers.
