The offer, which applies to all Kia cee’d models apart from the VR-7 special editions, is available for the Kia cee’d five-door hatchback, the Kia cee’d SW and the Kia pro_cee’d three-door hatchback.
VAT currently stands at 20 per cent in the UK, but by dropping it to just seven per cent on its cee’d range, Kia has reduced the entry-level price of a 1.4-litre petrol pro_cee’d to just £11,938.
A five-door Kia cee’d will now cost £12,116 and comes with Kia’s seven year warranty. The car, which shot to fame as Top Gear’s ‘Reasonably Priced Car’, will now be the one of most affordable hatchbacks on the market in the UK.
The offer applies to all trim levels (1,2 and 3) and will run until September in Kia dealerships including Perrys dealerships on Burnley, Preston and Rotherham.
Kia will also cut the price of some of its other cars as part of the new discount schemes. This includes £500 deducted from the price of the Kia Venga compact MPV until September.
The Kia Sorento 4×4 SUV and Kia Carens people carrier will be available with £1,500 deducted from the price, while the special edition crossover, the Kia Soul Echo, has had prices cut by £1,000.
Other models in the Kia Soul range will also be cut by £500 as part of the new series of offers.
The Kia Soul is a compact crossover SUV with unique ‘box-like’ styling designed to be practical and attractive. Designed for urban use, the two- or four-wheel drive SUV comes in a series of eye-catching special editions such as the Echo and the ‘Soul Searcher’ models.
Like the popular Kia Sportage SUV, the Kia Soul is one of several Kia cars to win the prestigious Red Dot Design award for its exterior styling.
