Citroen DS3 visits Arsenal FC

The latest episode of Street Mapper, a series of videos showcasing major cities across Europe, sees Parlour taking a Citroen DS3 supermini around London, where he visits Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium for a stadium tour.

The video is the 28th in the Street Mapper series, which has previously showcased Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Rome and Barcelona since the launch of the DS3 supermini early last year.

Designed to highlight the stylish small car’s efficiency and driving dynamics designed for the city, the Street Mapper series has been watched by over 10 million people since its launch.

The Citroen DS3 has been a huge success for the French manufacturer since its 2010 launch. The highly customisable car is the first in a series of cars designed by Citroen to improve quality and equipment levels as well as overall desirability over its standard range.

With this in mind, the DS3 was loosely based on the Citroen C3 in terms of size, but offers a sportier exterior with several different colour combinations and interior trims available.

It does however, share the engine range with the standard C3, including the ultra-efficient Airdream+ diesel engine that delivers sub-100g/km of CO2 emissions – enough to qualify for free car tax in the UK and exemption from the London congestion charge.

The success of the model has led to hot hatch version, the 300hp DS3 Racing being released in limited numbers. So popular was the performance variant it sold out before prices has even been announced in the UK.

The car will continue to star in the Street Mapper series, which focuses on art, design, fashion and sport in urban areas as part of the online advertising for the Citroen DS3.
