How do you advertise a special edition Fiat 500 by Gucci? Dressing a model in the finest Gucci clothing and organising a photoshoot with the car is the obvious choice, and it’s exactly what Fiat has done.
At Perrys, we outlined some of our most fashionable cars recently in our buyers’ guide section, and based on the amount of interest on our online magazine for the Fiat 500 by Gucci, it seems it is a popular choice with fashion-conscious buyers in the UK.
Fiat has hired model Natasha Poly, complete with one-of-a-kind black leather outfit, to market the car.
The result is the following images:
These adverts will appear in publications for the duration of 2011 and during special previous of car in Paris, London and Tokyo before the cars becomes available to buyers at the end of the year.
The Fiat 500 by Gucci is a special edition version of the car to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the designer.
Available in white or black with chrome highlights and the trademark Gucci green and red stripes across the sides and back, the car is probably the most stylish Fiat 500 on the market – and that is saying something given Top Gear voted the standard version its sexiest car, beating competition from supercars and premium models alike.
The Fiat 500 by Gucci also gets specially designed alloy wheels, a Gucci interior, keyfob and Gucci badging throughout.
In terms of the technical stuff, the car comes with a 1.4-litre, 100bhp petrol engine – more than enough for city driving and cheap enough to save some extra money on running costs.
And, if you’re a true fashionista, there is even a range of Gucci themed accessories to go with the car.
For the car itself, the price in the UK will be around the (very reasonable) £15,000 mark, but we can’t vouch for those Gucci accessories…
