The official UK Alfa Romeo magazine is currently available in print form and boasts a circulation of 27,000, evidence of the size of the fanbase in the UK.
Alfa Romeo enthusiasts are notoriously loyal to the brand, which boasts a long history of motorsport excellence, style and emotive design.
Now the magazine will be making its debut on the iPad, opening up to a new set of fans in the UK. The magazine will be different from the print version in a number of ways.
Firstly, it will add extra content such as 360-degree spinning images of all Alfa Romeo cars. These will include the recently launched Alfa Romeo Giulietta hatchback and Alfa Romeo MiTo supermini, as well as the stunning Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione supercar.
The app also includes test drives, full specification and Alfa Romeo pricing details and picture galleries of the cars in the Alfa range.
It will also offer all the latest news on potential new models, including the forthcoming Alfa Romeo Giulia, the replacement for the 159 saloon and third model in a revamped Alfa line up.
Damien Dally, head of brand for Alfa Romeo UK, says: “The new Alfa magazine iPad app is highly creative and interactive and is a key part of our integrated editorial content strategy.
“Our cars always feature the latest technologies, so to produce an app was a logical progression for our quarterly magazine, which is in its fifth year of publication. It now means our customers can catch up on the latest Alfa Romeo news and stories wherever they may be.”
Alfa Romeo currently sells three cars; the Alfa Romeo MiTo from £11,000, the Giulietta from £17,000 and the 159 saloon.
