Peugeot Just Add Fuel beats insurance rises

Quoting insurance rises of over £1,000, according to AA figures, Peugeot says its Just Add Fuel scheme will help to lower costs for UK motorists.

The new scheme brings together all motoring costs, including insurance, road tax, warranty and breakdown cover, in one monthly payment.

As the name suggests, the only extra cost to the driver is fuel. Peugeot also promises to set the amount for three years, leaving insurance unaffected by inflation and rising premiums.

Neil Moscrop, Sales Director at Peugeot UK said: "It is obviously a huge concern for all of us in the motor industry when rising insurance costs undermine people’s ability to run the car they want."

The huge rise in insurance costs has been attributed to a rise in false claims and the growth of the personal claim industry, pushing up premiums for honest drivers.

Moscrop added: "Hopefully the new regulations on how lawyers handle personal claims will help reduce that element of cost in the longer term but, in the meantime, we’re glad to be able to help with Just Add Fuel."

Calling the package ‘piece of mind’ for people knowing everything is paid for, Moscrop says the Just Add Fuel scheme is ‘fantastic value’.

Available on the entire Peugeot range, from the Peugeot 107 city car to the large 5008 crossover, capable of seating seven, the Just Add Fuel scheme is available now from Peugeot dealerships.

A calculator on the Peugeot website allows customers to check whether the Just Add Fuel scheme will save them money on a new Peugeot car, or if they are better off paying separately for each part.
