The Spanish manufacturer is extending its VAT-free offer on several of its cars, and offering 10 per cent off the price of others – effectively halving the 20 per cent rate of VAT.
The offer runs from now until 31 March and applies to models from the Ibiza supermini, Altea and Altea XL MPVs, Leon, Exeo, Cupra R hot hatch and Alhambra MPV ranges.
The pick of the offers comes in the Ibiza range, where the SC and five-door models in 1.4 Chill and 1.4 85PS petrol versions are available VAT-free.
All seven-seat Alhambra models come with the ten per cent discount, as do all petrol Leon models and diesel versions of the Seat Leon Cupra R hot hatch.
Seat is also expanding the offer to UK businesses for fleets less than 25 cars as it looks to expand its fleet presence in the UK.
SEAT UK Head of Operations Richard Harrison said: "The exceptional success of our VAT offer towards the end of 2010 meant we were understandably keen to continue the momentum into 2011.
"Our dealers up and down the country have been busier than ever and now, with the announcement of these great new retail offers, I’m sure they can look forward to a fantastic start to the New Year."
The move follows a similar offer from Renault which cuts prices on some models by up to £2,000. This includes discounts on the likes of the Megane, Clio supermini and Grand Scenic MPV for 2011.
Meanwhile, Ford has frozen the price of the entry-level Ford Fiesta supermini and Ford Ka for 2011 to combat the rise in VAT.
