First opened in 1990, the dealership on Bridgeman Street has sold Peugeot cars ranging from the 2002 European Car of the Year in the shape of the Peugeot 307 to other notable models including the 406 saloon and 206 superminis.
Gill Ashton, General Manager at Perry’s commented on the landmark birthday: “Here at Perry’s we believe that we offer fantastic choice and customer service which is the reason we have maintained an excellent customer base and managed to reach the ripe old age of 21!”
The dealership has had a successful year with the launch of the stunning Peugeot RCZ coupe earlier in the year.
Perry’s is now looking ahead to three new Peugeot launches in 2011. These include the Peugeot 508, the saloon replacement for the 407 and 607, as well as the world’s first hybrid diesel, the 3008 Hybrid4.
First to arrive, however, is the Peugeot iOn electric car. Featuring four-doors and capable of seating four adults, the Peugeot iOn is one of the first mass-produced electric cars to be sold in the UK.
The iOn, available on a lease-only deal, has a range of 93 miles and can be charged to 80 per cent capacity in just half an hour. A full charge will take eight hours through a standard household socket.
The Peugeot iOn will also be one of nine cars eligible for a £5,000 reduction in price from the government’s Plug-In Grant scheme, which starts from January 2011.
It should be a busy year for the staff at Perrys Bolton, says Ashton, who added: “2011 is going to be an exciting year for everyone at Perry’s with the launch of three new Peugeot’s and we are looking forward to receiving customer feedback on the new models.”
