Seat has adorned the Leon E Ecomotive with the extra ‘E’ to show it is the most efficient and lowest CO2-emitting model in the range.
Fuel economy is 74.3mpg in the hatchback, while CO2 emissions are a road-tax free 99g/km. More importantly for the Rafayel on the Left Bank, the car is also London congestion charge free.
The cars include technology such as fuel-saving startstop system and a diesel particulate filter to reduce exhaust pollutants from the 1.6-litre TDI engine.
It matches the hotel’s ambitions to reduce the carbon footprint of the average London hotel guest by 20 per cent through technology such as LED lighting and rainwater harvesting.
Now, two Seat Leon E Ecomotive models will be used as courtesy vehicles by the hotel. The models will include air conditioning, 16" alloy wheels, six-speaker stereo system and MP3 compatability.
They will also benefit from ESP, ABS, Hill Hold Control and tyre pressure monitoring, bringing the level of equipment higher than many ‘eco’ models seen on the roads today.
Welcoming the ground-breaking courtesy car deal with Rafayel on the Left Bank, SEAT UK National Fleet Sales Manager Sally Livingstone said: ‘The opportunity to put the Leon E Ecomotive in front of scores of green-minded hotel customers via this agreement with the Rafayel was very appealing.
‘I hope the hotel’s guests enjoy their journeys to and from the Rafayel as much as I’m sure they will enjoy their stay at this top class London hotel.’
The Seat Leon E Ecomotive starts from £16,840 and is available to buy now.
