The online Car Configurator allows visitors to the site to see up to three vehicles at a time, including 180 degree rotation and a finance calculator to help take customers through the payment options.
Mark Cameron, Sales Director for Mazda UK, commented: "I’m delighted that we have been able to introduce the Car Configurator to the website, especially when it looks so impressive. The realistic visuals really set off the design of our cars, and I particularly like the animated roof opening and closing on the MX-5 Roadster Coupe."
The new Mazda5 people carrier, complete with wave-like design language, can be viewed on the new configurator.
Released last month, the new Mazda5 is one of the more distinctive seven-seat MPVs on the market today and boasts sliding rear doors to make entering and loading easier.
While the design language is a one-off, the Mazda5 does feature the new Mazda ‘face’, something shared by the updated Mazda2 supermini.
The new Mazda2 features some subtle styling and chassis tweaks, as well as a range of Euro 5-compliant engines for January 2011. It will also be offered with Mazda’s innovative SKYACTIV petrol engines, which will be some of the most frugal of their kind when introduced next year.
Both models, as well as the likes of the MX-5 roadster, CX-7 SUV and Mazda6 saloon, are all available to view on the new online configurator, including finance options.
Each model can be explored in detail, with information about engines, performance, interior trim, equipment and design all available through pop-up boxes.
Cameron added: "We are one of the only manufacturers that offers a finance calculator on the site, and it’s a great opportunity for potential buyers to see the kind of great deal they could be getting when buying a new Mazda."
