Seat dealers decked out with ‘auto emocion’

Under the car maker’s ‘Seat Mania’ initiative, its showrooms are being given a facelift with a Spanish feel.

The move comes after another successful month for the manufacturer in September. Seat now boasts a record share of 1.6 per cent in the UK market.

The strong performance is down to popular models such as the Seat Ibiza and Seat Leon as well as an increase in business sales.

Seat has worked to reduce emissions across its range with its Ecomotive signature. In response, BIK and company car tax has fallen.

Using Volkswagen engine technology, the Seat Ibiza Ecomotive offers 62mpg and CO2 emissions of just 99g/km, meaning it qualifies for zero emissions-based road tax.

Richard Harrison, Head of Operations at Seat UK, explained: "The growing attractiveness of the Seat brand to both customers and successful dealers is there for all to see.

"And with showrooms all over the country undergoing the SEAT Mania makeover the appearance of our dealerships is quickly coming into line with the look of our sporty, young and design-driven range of models.

The Seat Mania programme aims, says Seat, to bring ‘auto emocion’ – the brand’s signature – to the showrooms with tailored decorations and furniture to suit each dealer.

Harrison concluded: "The feedback we’ve had around the Mania programme has been excellent with many dealers commenting that staff and customers alike love the fresh new look.”
