Spurning traditional supercars for her latest video, the British singer-songwriter has instead turned to the highly-customisable supermini which was recently the only car to be named in the prestigious Cool List from Stuff Magazine – finishing ahead of the iPad in the process.
The DS3 supermini will appear the video, which follows Pixie in a series of love scenes from both the past and present.
Marc Raven, Citroën Communications Director, commented: "Pixie Lott is one of the most talented and successful young performers of our time. We’re thrilled DS3 was chosen to appear in her new video – a happening vehicle for an up and coming artist."
The premium DS3 supermini has sparked a new era for Citroen since it announced it was reviving the DS Line of cars for 2010.
Following the DS3 and the fiery DS3 Racing will be a DS4 hatchback in 2011 and a DS5 after that. The DS4 will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in September, while a drop-top DS3 is also rumoured to be in the pipework.
Featuring three trim levels; DSign, Dstyle and Sport, the Citroen DS3 is available with a range of engines from the 95bhp 1.4-litre petrol to a 150bhp 1.6-litre THP.
Prices for the sporty, desirable hatchback range from £11,700 to as much as £18,500 with all the options specified and all models can be highly customised, including roof and door mirror colour and a host of interior options.
The model will appear on the Broken Arrow by Pixie Lott, a song taken from the multi-platinum Turn It Up album, from 11 October, but the video can also be viewed here.
