The Spanish manufacturer is offering up to £1,805 off the special edition model starting from September to celebrate Columbian singer Shakira’s Good Stuff European Tour.
This means the price of Seat Ibiza Good Stuff in sports coupe body style will drop to £10,495 and there will be a saving of £1,715 on the five-door model, which will be priced at £10,995.
Seat hopes the special edition Ibiza hatchback will boost sales in a month when the new registration plates should also boost new registrations.
Seat’s Head of Marketing in the UK, Steve Robertson, said: ‘September remains a key month for car sales in this country, and helped by great offers like this I’m sure our dealers are going to be busier than ever.’
Both models were launched last year with a 1.4-litre petrol engine in the SE trim level. The 16V engine is matched to a five-speed manual gearbox and delivers 85PS at 5,000rpm.
The SC body style is slightly quicker than the five-door with a 0-62mph sprint time of 11.8 seconds compared to 12.2 seconds. The top speed stands at 110mph and 109mph for the SC and five-door hatchback respectively.
The special edition Seat Ibiza supermini isn’t part of Seat’s Ecomotive range, but does return 47.1mpg on the combined cycle and emit 142g/km.
The Seat Ibiza Good Stuff – as the name suggests – also added some extra equipment to the specification.
A TomTom satellite navigation system, Seat dashboard dock, a black iPod 8GB Nano, iPod docking station and climate control system are all added to the special edition’s equipment list.
Outside the car, the Good Stuff package includes 16" alloy wheels, dark tinted rear windows and unique Good Stuff badging on the boot.
From September, customers can buy a Seat Ibiza Goof Stuff special edition with an all-new ’60’ registration plate and the manufacturer is also offering a wide range of financing offers.
