The age-old question will be tested during the ‘Seat Sex Drive’ during the new program from the Spanish manufacturer, which will be presented by Fifth Gear’s Vicki Butler-Henderson and Jonny Smith.
The battle of the sexes will feature a number of 18 to 44-year olds in a number of driving challenges in the sporty Seat Leon Cupra R, led by team captains Jack Osbourne and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis.
Contestants will be recruited through the Seat website and 300 drivers will be whittled down to four of each sex via a reality show-style public vote.
Drivers will need to impress in driving auditions to show they can handle the Seat Leon Cupra R – the most powerful Seat ever released in the UK.
Contestants will need to cope with 265PS hot hatch and top speeds of up to 155mph during the challenges in a rare chance to drive the new model.
Steve Robertson, Seat UK head of marketing, said: “Seat Sex Drive will provide excitement and tension in spades, as well as answering the all-important question of which is the stronger sex behind the wheel.”
In true battle of the sexes style, if the women win they will be presented with tickets to see pop star Shakira on her European tour date in London, while the men will receive tickets to the football Europa League final in Dublin in 2011.
The Seat Leon Cupra R arrived in the UK in July but the manufacturer is expecting demand to considerably outstrip supply.
